Got a wonderfully warm welcome and enjoyed a spacious family room with a great power shower and lots of storage! I loved the relaxation options like the garden area and treatment room available, which added a real touch of comfort to our stay. The only downside was the bathroom size, a bit smaller than I thought, but overall, it was a lovely experience and I'd totally recommend it! 😄

We had an amazing experience at the hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful, and when I mentioned it was our anniversary, they left a lovely card in our room, very personal touch

Fabulous location just a short stroll to central attractions.
Elevator was out of order during our stay causing inconvenience.

missingWrote a review on 01 Augfriendly staffdelicious breakfastdaily towel changesdated roomlimited parking
The stay was enhanced by exceptionally friendly staff who provided personalized service, making every interaction memorable. Breakfast stood out as delicious and made to order with plenty of choices, and dinner featured fresh, traditional fish that impressed our palate. the bathroom towels were changed daily despite requests to conserve, and the room, while spacious and clean, felt slightly dated with a slippery shower and a lack of updated facilities. Free parking was a plus, though spaces were limited during peak times.

Breakfast was a real treat—proper full English that hit the spot, paired with delightful dining vibes and a nice local atmosphere. Plus, the location is golden for popping into the town centre’s fab eateries like The Dome at Buxton and Redwillow. You won't want for good grub here!
Had a bit of a faff with all those emails before arriving—what's with the passport details for a one-night stay? The room had some noise from neighbours, but honestly, the charm of Buxton still shone through.

would stay here again without hesitation
Cozy standard double room with nice touches like a tea/coffee maker, kettle, and flat-screen TV. The bathroom had great free toiletries and a nice shower. Breakfast was a real winner with a full English and plenty of options. The dining area had views of the gardens and felt spacious. Spa facilities were a highlight too with excellent fitness options.

Comfortable bed sizes make for a decent night’s rest, and the room layout offers ample space to move around without feeling cramped. Conveniently located for stepping out to local eateries and attractions adds to the overall appeal.
The decor feels dated, with worn-out furnishings and some areas looking rather shabby—definitely in need of a makeover. During my stay, I encountered issues like a malfunctioning TV with broken streaming services, which was frustrating. Not to mention, noise disturbances from both guests and staff made for a less-than-peaceful environment, affecting sleep quality. It's worth noting that the food options didn't accommodate vegan choices, which can be disappointing if you're looking for variety. while the location and size of the rooms are great, they could certainly use a facelift on the inside.
